[Wedding] My first wedding-related nightmare
I dreamt that I was at my parents' house and I had two weddings to attend one day. At the second one I was getting kind of tired. I guess I took a nap. When I woke up, it was 9:30pm and I realized that I was missing my own wedding! I went downstairs and had to go into the kitchen for food. There were a few trays of stuff left, including homemade potato chips that looked like flat Pringles (wtf? We're not serving those!). A lot of people had left, and those who remained were watching TV and playing cards.
I KNOW that your wedding is supposed to just breeze by in a blur, but in this case, I didn't remember a thing, not even vaguely! $100k gone (the real wedding doesn't even come close to costing this much, but I'd be bummed at missing the majority of my wedding no matter how much or how little I'd spent), so it was Really Really Bad.
Then I woke up in a panic.
Everything is coming together for the real wedding. Invitation response cards are due tomorrow, and we're waiting on 37 guests' worth of replies. There will be a phone and email blitz beginning tomorrow evening, and I've already sent lists out to my parents and E. in preparation.
We have to rush on this because table assignments are due at the reception hall next Thursday, and it's no joke assigning 300+ people into tables. So far we're confirmed for 288.
